Hi
I am planning to switch my 16in rims with 18in alloy wheels on 2003 Altima 2.5S.I am wondering what are cons and pros in this. Also I need to know what tire size is best I tried 225/40/R18 but they are small and ruin my speedometer accuracy. So what tire size is the exact fit on these 18 in so I can't see any discrepancy in speedometer. As SE-R model has 225/45/18 ....Are those work on 2.5S model.....or ???? Any help or comments will greatly appreciated :scooter:

Pros. Looks good
Cons. 18 inch wheels with low profile tires bend very easily when hitting potholes.
Larger wheels tend to rub the inner fenders when turning.
Alot of aftermarket wheels are only made for a short period of time so if you damage one you may have to replace all of them.

Tire rack recommends 225/45r18. They also show you can go with a 19 inch rim with 245/35r19

225/45/r18 has 2% error in speedometer accuracy and 235/45/r18 has 0.6% error. Just wondering that 235mm wide tire can rub inner fender when turning or it is safe.... as for 19in wheel it is 245mm wide wheel (245/35/r19) according to previous post. I had tried 225/40/r18 did not had any rubbing issue just have a little bumpy ride and 5.3% error in speedometer but the tire width is safe in turns but I don't know about 235mm wide tire...
Also will 235mm width tire can fit on the same rim on which I have 225mm tires on now?
