Wanting to add the 2012 Sentra SL optional Rearview Monitor setup to an already existing 2012 Sentra SR Special Edition package vehicle.
What components would we need to purchase and instructions in order incorporate this like OEM?

If it is optional from manufacturer, than you should be able to get the parts and info from a dealer.

This is not a dealer installed option/accessory. This is not even an option for the SR model.
Was hoping someone had already done the work to find the parts needed and install instructions.
Guess I'll have to plug and play.

Didi you find a solutioni just got a sentra 2.0 2012 and i would like toadd a rearview monitor as far as i know i havebt found what i want only a separate lcd monitor from the one already installed

You would have to change out the radio with the nav unit from the SL model and add the camera and wiring. It can be done but the audio unit with the nav screen is about $3500.00. A cheaper option would be to buy an aftermarket unit. Crutchfield.com has a sony touch screen radio with built in bluetooth and camera input on sale for $299.00.

Haven't implemented a solution yet. But according to the wiring diagram from the service manual and by looking in the back of my unit, the wiring is there coming out from the unit, but i don't know where it ends as I can't seem to find the other end wiring in the trunk area.
Stay tuned, I still want to achieve this.
