Poor fuel economy 06Altima2.5s
After 15K miles, my altima is still getting poor gas milage (30mpg on highway)
These are imperial gallons. I've questioned numerous other Altima owners and they are getting milage in the high 30's. This car is serviced regularly by Nissan and after several computer scans, they say that everything is normal and that they can't account for the poor fuel economy. Could there be something between the output of the crank and auto tranny that can cause a problem? |

I would be interested to know what your Average L/100km is. I have an 2006 Altima also and it presently at 9.2L/100km (per the trip button readout). The best hwy I've gotten is 36.5 mpg.I am attaching a web site you may interested in. ecoENERGY for Personal Vehicles |

How long have you had the car? Is this your first winter with it?
What I'm getting at, many areas of the U.S. (don't know about Canada) is required to sell a "winter blend" of gas. Basically ethanol. Most experience a drop in mileage. |
