thank you for your help, and yes it does shift hard at first and second gear, and car shakes a lil bit at the speed of 60 for some time and be normal after while .another question ;are these both p0745 and p0325 problem related to transmission, what would be more resonable for me changing transmission or replacing the knock sensor and pressure control solenoid.

I have an infiniti QX4 1997 which is the same 3.3 engine as the pathfinder. Where can I find the dropping resistor that nissan tech mentioned? Which part of the engine compartment? I am receiving the same "P0745 Pressure contorl Solenoid Malfunction" message.

Hi am checking to see if anyone can assist me. I have a 1999 infiniti i30. My overdrive light blinks 16 times when I start the engine and then goes off also I receive a hard shift between first and 2nd gear. I was reviewing other forums and I see the there might be something called a "dropping resistor" that can cause this. Does anyone know where it is located?

My service engine light is on I do not have any shifting in the gears problem, but I smell the gas when the car is in park and I have gotten an electronic code reading of P0745: Internal Trans Code, POSS VALE. I have a 2007 Nissan Maxima SE. Would anyone know if this is a cheap fix? How much would we be talking parts/labor? Also what parts do I need?

My wife has a 2001 GXE with the KA24DE. (117K miles on the clock)
Her mother has a 2007 2.5SE with the newer edition QR25DE. (Unknown mileage, I don't look at this car too often. Still in warranty.) And I have a friend with a 2006 2.5SE with the older QR25DE. (50K miles on the clock. Still in warranty.) (I'm the guy that knows cars and everybody drags their problems to me... As such, I like to run a vehicle with fewer moving parts to cause problems... No camshaft or timing chain, no valve train, no balance shafts...) |

Evening folks, I've pulled and tested that "dropping resistor" in my partner's automatic K12 Micra and the resistance was MUCH higher than what it should be, it was at 20 odd Kohms then tested again at over 15 Mohms! It's safe to say it's failed I take it? Would that component failing definitely cause the P0745 error then?
