Default 1998 Altima Car Seat Restraints

We jst installed a Evenflo Triump 5 car seat into our 1998 Altima. We find that the car seat does not seem as tightly secured as with the newer LATCH system restraints. Is there anything anybody has done to tighten the center lap belt around a car seat?[/b]

Unfortunately my car and car seat are different, but if you check at Evenflo web site FAQ section and select:

https://plweb.evenflo.com/faqs.aspx

-Car Seat Convertible
-Triumph

It shows you a few tips and ideas on how to secure the child seat tighter.

Hope it helps, good luck.
