2006 Altima 2.5 P2A00 P0335 P0725 HELP
Hi, 2006 Altima with a 2.5 and I just replaced the exhaust pipe from the manifold to the and including the 2nd converter and O2 sensor. A week later I started getting the codes above and was wondering if they are all related to the upstream O2 sensor or a bad ground or something? Car has 108k on it and I've replaced the crankshaft position sensor 3 times over the past 5 years (not fun).
Car will randomly get a throttle position sensor code (pedal sensor) or transmission speed sensor code come up also but havnt seen those in a while. And I did clear all codes and do the relearn steps but codes come back after 10-15 miles. Last edited by Scode68; 08-26-2020 at 05:53 AM. |

Do you think the P0725 is a false code for the crank shaft position sensor?
What can be causing the crankshaft position sensor to be going bad? As mentioned above I've replaced this 3 times already over the past 5 years. Car has 108k on it but it had the engine replacement recall at about 30k. Car is running fine with the SES light on. |

Okay, so I replaced the crankshaft position sensor again but after ten minutes the care threw a P2A00 code. Getting a new upstream O2 sensor but I feel like I'm just randomly throwing parts in here to try and make the SES light to stay off. This is now the 4th crank shaft position sensor replacement in 5 years. WTF?

So I'm still trying to hunt down the cause of this P2A00 code that keeps coming up after a few days. P2A00 = O2 Sensor range/performance bank 1 sensor 1. Car now has new upstream and downstream o2 sensors, MAS and spark plugs. Old plugs were clean but looked worn. I did all of the relearn prepossesses and don't see find any vacuum, intake or exhaust leaks.
Car runs and idles great other than the light coming on. Any suggestions? |
