2002 altima dies after 30 miles wont start for hours
If i keep my trip local i have no issues with this car whatsoever. Once i go around 30 miles, it will just drop right out as if i shut the igniton off. No CEL. Will turn over just fine all day but will not start back up. I have to find an alternate route home and around 4 hours later, ill go try it and ofcourse, it starts just fine. No issues. As if nothing even happened. I dont understand whats going on here. I was thinking maybe the fuel pump is dying or something? But why would it just start right up when i get back to it? If it died due to lack of fuel, wouldnt it stutter and "catch prime" when returning? Its a 2002 nissan altima 2.5l 4cyl auto. Ive had multiple issues and have replaced d many things so knowing these altimas, is there a relearn i should try? I just want to be able to go more than 30 miles without being dumped on the side of the road.
