Default 2003 Altima 2.5L Timing Tensioner Spring Fell into Timing Cover

The title pretty much says it all... I screwed up and the spring and plunger from the tensioner fell into the timing chain cover. I’ve tried putting a magnet tool down in there but can’t seem to get it. Is there a trick to getting it out without having to take the oil pan and timing cover off?
