Default 2007 Altima 2.5 (250,000 km or 155,00 mi) staggers/stumbles when accelerated

My problem started showing up last spring when motor is cold. At start up it would stumble when accelerated. Wasn't too bad if accelerated slowly. Problem eased a bit during warm summer months. Now with cooler weather, problem is back with a vengeance. So, it seems to be temperature related. I cleaned the mass air sensor and it seemed to relieve the problem temporarily. I changed the intake air filter and that also seemed to give temporary relief. I even removed the mass air sensor, but that did not relieve the problem. During this time the check engine light came on and gave me a P0507 code. This may, or may not be related to the problem, but one of the suggestions related to the code is to add injector cleaner to the fuel to clean up any carbon build up. I did add some STP injector cleaner at a couple of gas fills, but problem didn't clear. Anybody with this experience?
