Default sometimes car will not crank over

Hi, I have a 2005 Altima 2.5 SL Auto Trans sometimes the engine will not crank over it does not matter if it has engine is hot or cold and it may start ok for weeks and then it will happen again once or twice then not again for some time. I have checked the battery and battery cables all is fine I don't want to just start replacing parts any Ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks
Lou

Of course, do the obvious and check you battery cable connections to make sure they are clean an tight. Check you battery and charging system. If okay, see if tapping on the starter solenoid (on the starter) can get it to start when you can duplicate the no start condition. You may have a sticking starter solenoid and will need to replace the starter assembly.
