Default Help with 2004 Altima fuel pump

Hey fellas I recently ordered a new pump online and went to put it in and realized once I took off the cover in the back seat the my altima doesnt have a fuel return line. The new one I have has 2 inlets one for a return line I'm assuming. Can anyone tell me if I could still use this pump by plugging the return line inlet off on the new pump or is there differences in the pump itself. Any help will be much appreciated thanks.

You don't have a 2004 Altima, but a 2003 model. The 2003 Altima has 1 fuel hose connector and the 2004 and up have 2 fuel connectors. As far as I know, you can't use the 2 hoses connector fuel connector on your 2003 Altima.

I would think that it probably doesn't matter so plugging the hose would work OK, unless there are other differences, i.e., pressure output difference, depth in tank, level gauge difference. I would return it and replace it with the correct one.
