Default water in gas tank

I am trying to jump my fuel pump relay to pump out tank.I had to pull panel from under dash to get to the relay(top right I think).Does the panel have to be grounded for a jumper wire to work? Its a six pin relay .

You got the wrong relay. The fuel pump relay is only 4 pin relay. You have to jump #3 and #5 pins.

Can't remember what color is, but usually, 4 pin relays are blue and is just on top of the fuse box.
