Touch screen problems.
Hi,
Hopefully someone out there can help me with this issue. I have a 2014 Nissan Altima SV, I have a touch screen radio w/a nav... the problem is that about 2 weeks ago my touch screen stopped working. My radio and my Navigation system working perfectly fine still. But the touch screen is not detecting my touch any longer. Whenever I go to touch the screen is giving me an error message that says "Continuous Touch Detached hit back to hide message" this is completely annoying to me. Yes, I can still work all of the functions from the steering wheel or on the side panel. But my touch screen not working is just a hassle. Has anyone ever dealt with this? I bought this car brand new. But but full warranty coverage was 3 years or 36k miles, and I have 40k miles...so small things like the radio would no longer be covered and I'm really not wanting to make alot of many for this. Does anyone have a solution? Thanks in advance! Last edited by EMarie; 11-29-2016 at 11:02 AM. |

touch screen
Let me know if/when you find and answer. I have the same problem and it was already replaced once for this same issue when the car was still under warranty! And no the dealer wont fix it!

My Nissan is a year newer and a different model but the touch screen is doing the same thing your was. Did you figure out the problem and get it fixed? Any suggestions on what I need to do?

Continuous touch detected
Just bought used. Cannot connect blue tooth phone. Looking on ebay for a replacement screen. Not sure if it's a resistive touch or capacitive touch. Any clue?
