Default 2004 Altima 2.5l Where does this connection go?

Hello, I am new to this forum. Recently my car won't start. It cranks over like it wants to but no luck. Anyway I noticed this connection (see images below first is main connection then branches off second image) hanging from under my car. I don't have a repair manual (Haynes or Chilton) so I have been looking on the web at schematics. I think it is for the ambient sensor but I also thought it might be for the connection that is suppose to run behind the radiator to the other side. I'm not sure. I was using this to go by (see link below) Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!

The taped connector is for fog lights and the other one is for the ambient sensor.

Does the security lights stays ON while you crank the engine? do you have fuel pressure at the fuel rail?

Thank You for your response. I don't have fog lights so it must be the ambient sensor. I don't think I have a security light on. I am also unsure about fuel in the rail. I was planning on checking that and spark tomorrow mourning. I'll post back with results. I do have a quick question. What does the ambient sensor actually do? Again Thank You!

Vehicles are pre-wired from the factory for fog lamps, so just because you don't have fog lamps, you still have the wiring harness for it.

Ok that makes sense. After doing some research and testing I determined that my condenser is bad. Wasn't getting any spark had gas in the fuel rail though. In case someone else reads this it looks kind of like a relay right behind the ignition coils. If I need more assistance I'll start a new thread since I'm getting away from the original post. Thank You!
