Default Changed my fuel pump, 2007 Altima won’t start

Hello, & TIA. When I was pulling out of work the other day my car struggled to start but did, when I started down the road it was jerky and died. My buddy helped me tow it home. We replaced the fuel pump thinking that was the issue, but now when I try to start it wants to kick over but it won’t. We’re puzzled over what could be the issue. Fuel filter, fuel sensor? Any input is appreciated.
