oil cooler gasket change
Went in for a oil change on my 2008 Altima sedan 2.5L SL at Morrey Nissan in Burnaby.
They said my oil cooler is leaking. It's near the oil filter. They quoted me $325CAD for the repair. How long should it actually take to replace the gasket and does the oil need to be drained out and filter removed? |

According to the service bulletin 1.4 hrs. As far as I know you don't need to drain the oil.

I just did the oring on my Titan It didn't take me that long to do in my driveway I bought the oring from the dealer about $9. Then I read u can buy an extra oil filter and remove the oring from it to use for half the price. I heard there is a youtube on it. I'm assuming it is the oil cooler adapter under the oil filter and not the actual oil cooler which is probably the rubber hose connections another easy fix.
