Default Fluctuating idle

Greetings!

My 2002 Altima with a 2.5 engine has developed a fluctuating idle. It has decided to idle between 1500-2000 rpm. I've re-programmed the Accelerator pedal release position learning, the throttle valve closed position learning, and the idle air volume learning, both before and after I replaced the PCV valve and the throttle body.

Any suggestions?

Chris

If doing the programming manually did not work for you then the next step would be to take the vehicle to an independent shop that has the special scan tool for the reprogramming. I'm sure taking your vehicle to an independent shop is much cheaper than taking it to the dealership for the scan tool reprogram.

I went to a mechanic and they reset the computer electronically. End of problem.

Thanks
