turn signal don't work
I have a 99 altima gxe and the turn signals do not work, the mechanic cant seem to find what the problem is. He has checked the switch, flasher, bulb and everything works, but the turn signals do not work. His only suggestion is take it to a nisssan dealer, but that will cost an arm and both of my legs just for them to look out it. What else could it be because I have no clue ?

Since its a 1999 vehicle, the sockets may be corroded. Clean the sockets with a round steel brush. See if that helps.

I agree with DaHen suggestion above, also have you or your mechanic checked is there is power and ground at the turn signal sockets?
Does the hazard light work? If the hazard lights switch is damage or disconnected the turn signal switch will not work at all.
