Default 94 Altima Cam Sensor

Hello all. I just replaced my distributor for the camshaft position sensor after getting a 1*1 code. Car runs now but takes longer than normal to start (2-3 seconds). When it does start there is a strong gas smell to the exhaust, but only right after the initial start. Every so often while driving it has a slight hesitation, but seems to only be around 2k rpm. It wont do it under acceleration, only when cruising around 45-55 mph. Could this be from the timing being off slightly from replacing distributor? Car has 173K miles and otherwise runs fine...... thanks in advance for any input!

OK. Just for future reference. I replaced the ignition coil & all seems to be ok. According to spec, resistance from terminal B to main output is 10k-12k ohms, mine tested 14k-19k ohms. I guess it worked good enough to run the car, but not well.
