Are you replacing all 3 drive belts or just a certain belt.
1. A/C Compressor Belt- working from under the compressor. Loosen the bolt behind the idler pulley counter-clockwise. The belt will be loose. 2. Water Pump, Alternator Belt- The tensioner bolt is above the altenator. 3. Power Steering Belt- Loosen the bolt behind the idler pulley. All 3 belts powered by the crankshaft. Replace one belt at a time to eliminate confusion. As a registered user, you may download the service manual for your vehicle. Follow the drive belts routing diagram. Tools: socket wrench, socket, belts. Have fun. |
