2006 Altima MANUAL Transmission fluid change
Need to change MANUAL transmission fluid in 2006 2.5L Altima. Haynes service manual instructs me to remove "vehicle speed sensor" on tranny to check fluid level and for fill. Photo in manual does not relate to anything on tranny that I can see. I have no idea where this sensor is. Anyone give some guidance on this? This should be an easy job! Annoys me to have to take this in and pay someone $100 for equivalent of an oil change, especially after spending (wasting) $25 on the Haynes manual.

Shop Manual
You might want to register and then go to the Knowledge Base on the forum and download the shop manual for your car.
It should have that information in it. |

The instruction to service the transmission are in the "Maintenance" section of the service manual. You can download the section free from here: Knowledgebase - 2006 Altima - Nissanhelp.com Forums
