Sqeaky right turns
Hello all, We bought an 03 Altima 2.5S from my grandmother thinking it was a grandma car and there would be nothing wrong with it...well I was wrong. She had new brakes and tires put on the car about a year ago. When we take a right hand turn we get a sqeaking sound from the front right suspension area. I can't imagine it would be a brake issue but who knows. The sqeak appears to to speed up as we accelerate but goes away after @ 20mph. While in reverse the sqeak gets a little worse. Any ideas... Thanks in advance!!

There are a few things that can cause a squeak around the wheel, for example brake pads, brake rotor backing plate, bent suspension component. My suggestion is to remove the wheel and inspect the brake and suspension parts. You can also lift the front wheel and try turning the wheel by hand to try locating where the noise is coming from.

Thanks for the reply, I dug into it a little deeper and come to find out the brakes were never replaced. Went to a local auto parts store and installed new brakes and problem solved. Lesson learned, never rule out the simple things even though someone said they replaced them. Thanks again
