No Ringtone with iPhone 4 on bluetooth system
I have a 2008 Altima 2.5SL. Previous to my iPhone 4 I had a Blackberry 9000. The Bluetooth system worked great no issues. Calls came in, ringtone from the in car system rang etc. Now with my iPhone 4, no ringtone. When a call comes in, the radio/satellite goes silent and i can see a call coming in (via the all display on the radio) but no ring tone. Has anyone experienced this problem and found a solution.

Same issue...
I am having the exact same issue - I have a 2007 Nissan Altima 2.5 SL and have just switched to an iPhone 3GS. My Blackberry Bold worked perfectly with this system before I switched.
When I initially set this up, the car audio system seemed to ring when tested. Eventually it just stopped - not to mention there are times when the car doesn't even state there is a call coming in. At this point I have to catch it on my iphone screen. Once I answer the phone (on the iphone), it seems to connect within a second to talk hands free. Ugh - this is frustrating. |

Same issue with bluetooth
I have a similar issue with my HTC Hero (Nissan Approved Phone) on my 2010 Nissan Maxima. The phone always pairs correctly but when calls come in there are no ringtones, no audio when I answer the call and the other party can not hear what I am saying. I have ran the bluetooth diagnostics from the service manual but there are no codes present. 1 out 10 ignition cycles everything works perfectly though....
Since my phone is Nissan Approved I was going to request the dealer replace my bluetooth control unit and see if that helps. |
