Att: Tech and MPE...Altima Glove Box Pins
MPE:
One more time on these. I'm either going to order the pins I need or replace it with those screws you mentioned. What type of screws work best in replacing the factory pins? When you open the glove box door, it seems like it's only connected on one side. Something is missing or broken there :). I want to fix it so it doesn't fall off. Also, is it true that a glove box light is "optional" on these cars? LOL. Seems a bit backward---my 1979 Pontiac Trans Am and even my 1989 Chevy Cavalier have them :). (Oddly enough, I don't think my 2009 Pontiac G6 does though. What were these guys thinking? Maybe because it's a convertible, you can use the moonlight to see what's in the glovebox? LOL.) Thanks. |

The best ones to use are 6mm plastic plate screws but pretty much any 6mm screw the same length as the pin will work.
