Default Altima 2003 3.5 won't Accelerate.

Have a 2003 nissan Altima with 94,400 Miles.

Occasionally I will be driving down the road and the car will just stop accelerating, I will hit the accelerator pedal and nothing will happen. I will continue to hit the accelerator pedal and eventually it will take off. During it's fits however the car NEVER dies, it will sit at idle and that is all it will do.

I have replaced the Fuel Pump (First Attempt)
Disconnected front and rear Engine Mounts (no change)
I have read about the Crank and Cam Sensor Though these are generally on the 2.5's and also they cause the vehicle to die and my car is not dying.

Any help PLEASE

It was the alternator. apparently their was a short in the internals of the alternator causing current to back feed into the computer thus causing erratic and undiagnosable problems. Thanks for peoples helps. I've been trying to get back to all the forums were people had tried to help me diagnose the problem. Thanks.
