What Should I do????
Hello Everyone,
I have a situation with my car. My car is a 2002 Nissan Altima 3.5L, I have pulled the codes from my car and I got the following: P0720, P1800, P1574, U1000, and U1001. I know the P0720 code has to do with the vehicle speed senor, which I believe is on the transmission. The P1800 is the Intake Air System Control Solenoid Valve Circuit which I know how to fix that. Now her comes the tricky part, P1574 is the ASCD Vehicle Speed Senor. I am only assuming that there is more than one speed senor on the car. I believe that my Transmission Control Module may be no good because I can't use my cruise control and, at time my car feels like it has no power after driving for about a hour. My question would be does it make sense to replace the TCM and the speed senor. Also when I start my car the Parking indicator on the dash blinks for about 6 seconds and then it stays on. Sometimes when it's cold outside the light won't come on at all until the car is warm which is usually about 10 minutes. Last edited by NissanTech; 09-29-2013 at 07:50 PM. The P0720 and P1574 are for the same sensor. I would start by replacing the Revolution Sensor (Speed Sensor).
