2013 Altima Sedan Suspension and Engine noises
I own a 2013 altima 2.5SV. I was proud to buy this car because of its fuel economy and appearance, but have been very disappointed with the suspension quality and noises and engine performance in the car. Since last 8 months, I have been reporting multiple types of noises in the car, dealer had tried to some work on it, but those noises keep coming back. I'm still looking for a fix for those issues.
Suspension needs serious attention. it squeaks going over a speed bump in low speed. There's some other noise (like a clack, tack) coming from the front suspension/sway bar. There is some rattling noise like a thin metal clip spinning at high speed when the car picks up speed. I was told that its coming from the power steering and Nissan is aware of it. No fix has been given for it yet. When car is running around 30-45 mph speed and you have to apply brakes, it feels that engine motor is still running at high speed and it still maintains that speed to slip before coming to stop. There is some noise coming from the trunk side as well when you apply brakes, not sure whether it's ths rear suspension or something else. There had been 2 recall notices, which have already been applied to my car. I need to get all these noises fixed in the car and dealer has not been able to diagnose them very well. Help please !!! |

Unfortunately without hearing the noises there is no much we can do from here and you shouldn't try to fix the noise by your self either. You should try another dealer or call Nissan Consumer Affairs (800) NISSAN-1 (or 800-647-7261).
