Default Altima 2000, OBD2 erratic readings

Question to the Pro's.
On my Altima 2000 it's not possible to read continuously OBD data.
With simple Code reader after up-to-10 readings - communication error.
With ELM 327 - Communication with ECU lost after 5-6 seconds.
It's not possible to read VIN, codes, dynamic data.
Looks like common Altima problem - few Altima owners have the same problem.
The same OBD-II HW/SW set works perfectly on Honda, Toyota, Ford.
Is there a solution of ECU OBD-II communication problem?
Thanks

Thumbs down

Your ELM-327 Bluetooth version supports all OBD II vehicles. So you can scan for dtc's. For all other functions like I/M, Freeze Frame, Live data it does not support all makes and models.

Example: Nissan, it only support Sunny and X-Trail, 6 models of Honda, 6 models of Toyota, 8 models of KIA, Lexus eS300, etc., etc., etc. Check out their website for their list COMPATIBLE VEHICLES.

Thanks for the effort bennyb53.
The problem is with loosing connection between ECU and OBD2 reader.
I've tried quite a few Code Readers/Writers, ELM 327 - Wired, Bluetooth.
Discussed with other Altima owners - same problem.
Once I've seen - "ECU locked".
At least I can read DTC with a simple reader.
Thanks
