Default V6 Belt Tensioner

Hmmmm, things are awfully quiet here. Too quiet.

130k on my 3.5 and third belt is now in place.

I also bought a tensioner to swap out, but discovered the top bolt is behind the PS pump pulley and other sources have advised using a crows foot for access (and 200 1/16th turns, moving the CF each time ).

Anyone know about moving the PS pump for direct access? I only see one fastener but surely must be more.

Help!

There's a bolt on the back side of the P/S pump and then there are three (?) bolts on the front side that you access through the holes in the pulley. Should be 12MM.

Default PS Pump

Thanks for the 411.

I found my crows foot wrenches and will try to attack that buried tensioner bolt with one of them.

Concern is I will only be able to make small turns so I hope it will finger loosen quickly.
