Default 2010 Altima A/C Connector

The connector on my engine harness to the compressor clutch isn't connecting properly. I would like to replace the connector or bypass it. I have been told that I will need to purchase a complete engine harness and that the connector has a resistor in it to cycle the compressor.

Does anyone know where I can get the connector with pigtail? or can I remove the connectors and direct wire the clutch?

Thanks

I've never heard of a connector with a built-in resistor to cycle the clutch. The clutch "cycling" is controlled by the ECM. WiringSpecialties.com is the only place I've ever found Nissan pigtail connectors, but they are mostly for the engine components, i.e. coil or distributor connectors. If you can't find it there, look for one in a salvage yard that you can cut off and use for a repair pigtail connector.

I thought the same thing. The shop that replaced the compressor and clutch told me that it isn't just a connector and has a resistor internal. I have been looking for a salvage car, but everyone wants to sell a complete harness. I think I need a 2007 and newer harness.

Thanks
