Are the clicks you heard coming from the starter or from other part?

If the clicks coming from the starter, it means that the starter is not engaging. Either the starter or the flywheel is bad.

If the click from the stater relay, it means that the starter solenoid is bad (which comes with the stater motor as an assembly) or the connection from the relay to the starter is open or shorted. In other word the starter is not getting the signal to start.
