Default Door lock switches not working

Hi All,

I have a weird problem with my door locks the other day.

Locks work fine with the key fob or outside door handle but when I operate the switch on the door panel (both doors) nothing happens. So I know the door lock actuators are working mechanically. I rarely use the switches on the door panels.

There is a car alarm installed that was wired up (disconnected now) to the lock/unlock (grey and grey/red wires at drivers side kick plate). When either of these wires are grounded (single or double pulse) the doors locks do not operate. They used to!!!

I'm leaning towards the BCM being fried by car alarm so I guess I'm wondering if there is something I'm not thinking of.

Thanks
