Nissan North America (NNA) is not responsible for damage to vehicle window glass that is a result of objects striking or scratching the glass; this includes damage caused by the installation of aftermarket window tinting. Damage of this type is not warrantable. Also, foreign material on the windshield surface is not a warrantable condition.

The MIL is ON in an APPLIED VEHICLE with DTC P0456 (EVAP VERY SML LEAK)
AND
  • DTC P0456 is not caused by a loose fuel fill cap (refer to NTB13-097).
  • An EVAP leak has been detected where the vent control valve mounts to the canister.
  • The vent control valve O-ring seal is determined to be the cause.

When cleaning the “Front Combination Lamp” (Headlight housing) or “Rear Combination
Lamp” (Taillight housing) assemblies:
  • Use only a mild soap (special vehicle soap or general purpose dishwashing liquid), mixed with clean lukewarm (never hot) water.
  • Use a sponge or soft rag.
DO NOT USE:
  • Strong household soap, strong chemical detergents, gasoline or solvents.

With the engine running and the vehicle on a hoist, noise heard from the CVT may be louder (in Park, Neutral, Drive, or Reverse) than a non-CVT type transmission.

The vehicle speed is, or was, reduced by the CVT fail-safe (reduced vehicle speed) after continuous operation under the following conditions:
  • High RPM and/or high speed driving (RPM of 4000+ or speeds of 65 mph [104.6 km/h] for 1.0 – 1.5 hrs. or more)
  • Driving in ambient temperature of 96 degrees or higher
  • Climbing steep or extended hills for 6 miles (9.6 km) or more
  • Whine or rattle type noise occurring during reduced engine performance (vehicle speed decrease)

2013-2015 NISSAN ROGUE; CRANK NO START OR START AND NO THROTTLE RESPONSE WITH ETC DTC STORED
The vehicle is operated as follows:
1. The ambient temperature is below freezing (below 32°F / 0°C).
2. The engine was started and the vehicle driven a short distance.
3. The vehicle was then parked (engine turned OFF), and then allowed to sit for at least 10 minutes.
THEN, when restarting the engine:
The engine will crank but not start
OR
The engine will start, but the engine will not respond to throttle pedal input.
AND
One or more of the following Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) related DTCs are found stored in the ECM:
P2100 (ETC MOT PWR-B1)
P2101 (ETC FNCTN/CIRC-B1)
P1726 (ELEC TH CONTROL)
