-REVISED- 2011-2015 NISSAN LEAF; CUSTOMER SATISFACTION INITIATIVE 2G TELEMATICS HARDWARE REPLACEMENT
On February 26, 2016 Nissan announced that it was sending a reminder notification to owners affected by AT&T’s planned discontinuation of the 2G cellular network. At this time, Nissan is beginning the process of making 3G compatible hardware available to owners of affected vehicles as identified above. This upgrade may require an owner to make a copayment in order to receive the 3G hardware update.
2011-2017 NISSAN LEAF; LABEL REQUIRED FOR BATTERY MODULE WARRANTY RETURN
LEAF battery modules that are replaced under warranty are required to have a return label affixed to the module being returned, with the repair date recorded on it.

When diagnosing the front sonar parking sensor for unwanted activation (e.g. sonar activates with no obstacle ahead), inspect the front license plate, front license plate frame and if equipped, the front license plate bracket.

If a customer states “vehicle charger is not working” or “the EVSE is broken”, verify EVSE (Electric Vehicle Service Equipment) condition and operation before replacing it.

The Intelligent Keys used on the various Nissan vehicles may not be interchangeable between models and years.
VARIOUS NISSAN; SERVICING RUN FLAT TIRES AND LOW PROFILE TIRES EQUIPPED WITH TPMS SENSORS
When servicing run flat tires or low profile tires:
Special equipment and procedures are required to avoid damage.
Specifically, Tire Pressure Monitor transmitters (TPMS sensors) can be damaged when improperly dismounting and mounting tires.
TPMS sensors becoming damaged during mounting or dismounting tires are not covered under warranty.
To avoid such damage, ensure that the tire changer being used and the operator of the tire changer are capable of servicing run flat and low profile tires.
2005-2015 ALL NISSAN MODELS; ECM REPROGRAMMING – SERVICE INFORMATION
After ECM reprogramming, the Calibration Verification Number (CVN) needs to be automatically calculated prior to State emissions testing (also known as Inspection Maintainence, I/M, or SMOG testing depending upon location). Allowing the vehicle to idle for 22 minutes will allow for faster CVN calculation. It is recommended that customers utilize this method if the vehicle needs to be tested for emissions soon after ECM reprogramming.

The appearance of painted alloy wheels can be damaged if acidic cleaners are used.
