The fuel pressure is at the end of the fuel rail and located at the back of the engine, near the firewall. If replacing, you would have to remove the upper plenum and likely the fuel injection rails. A fuel pressure test would verify if it is working properly. If your plugs look like they are burning rich (black soot on electrode) or flooded with wet fuel, the regulator could be the problem. Stalling issues on these vehicles are often caused by either a bad distributor or a bad crank position sensor, the latter located at the top of the transmission bellhousing, a bit to the driver's side, and a real PITA to get to unless you have skinny arms and a long reach.
