Default Tryng to get rear valve cover (plenum) off 2000 Maxima SE...

We want to replace the valve cover gaskets on our 2000 Maxima SE. Trying to get big black plenum covering the rear valve cover off, and we are running into problems.
We have unbolted most of the hoses and brackets so we can lift it clear when the time comes. We have removed 6 long bolts and 2 nuts securing the front part and indeed the front part now shifts slightly.
We have removed 3 x 12mm bolts from the back close to the firewall (only after some difficulty). Actually, we are confused about which bolts need to come off from the back -- feeling our way around, groping in the dark, there seems to be a group of 4 bolts on the passenger side (2 x 12mm above 2 x 10mm?) and 2 other 12mm bolts across the back.
We were hoping to get the plenum loose enough to lift gently and get more room (and be able to see what we're doing!!) to disconnect the hoses at the throttle body (IACV? EGR?).
There is an excellent write up on an Infiniti i30 -- but the component layout seems different on the Maxima. Can anyone provide advice on what we can best do next to get this darned plenum off (without resorting to a pry bar!!!!).

Thanks, Rob & Seth
