I developed a similar problem last week.My A/C would only work on the '1' setting.I took it to the dealer [Jim Falk Motors of Maui] today to have it fixed.I also needed my antenna cable reconnected to the terminal.
The bill came to $323.74!The part [resistor 1 27150-5Z000] was $75.40.The labor was $220.Misc. charges [customer pay shop charge for repair order] was $15.40.Sales tax $12.94.
This is what they did:Replaced blower motor resistor, rechecked OK.$165. plus part $75.40.Reconnected antenna cable to terminal.Rechecked OK.$55. 99 point courtesy inspection.
I feel I got royally reamed. What I`d like to know is what the average cost of these repairs should be?
