Default Used 2003 Base 350z or Not?

I am new to the 350z scene, but I have been looking through a number of forums. I am considering purchasing a used 2003 nissan 350z (base model) with around 81,000 miles on it. Does anyone have any input on if this is a good/bad idea, or if there are certain things to look for that would make this a good or bad decision? Any information would be helpful. Thanks.

Also, is there some way to look up which cars (by VIN) that were involved in any of the recalls, so I can check the cars i'm considering? if so, how?

Robbie

The only big issue i can remember is with tire wear on the front. If i remember right the front tires are a different size than the rear thus preventing a proper rotation.I seem to remember something about a change to the proceedure to front end alignment.
