350z bluetooth

Can anyone tell me if the handsfree bluetooth is part of the bose stock radio or a seperate system . have 07 z with after market radio and the phone button on steering wheel not working. I guess it was disconnected or not available without the stock radio.

There is a separete unit for the bluetooth, but the unit uses the car speaker thorugh the audio unit.

thank you , i saw the phone light come on and blink so i guess if i connect the speakers to it the handsfree should work , thanks again
