Noise in 2007 Nissan Xterra

Help - Our 2007 Nissan Xterra is making weird squeaky/clanky noises when we go over bumps etc on the front end...possibly right side. It almost sounds like a suspension problem. Anyone have any clues? Thanks.

Select 2007-2008 NISSAN PATHFINDER, FRONTIER, XTERRA; SQUEAK NOISE FROM FRONT OF VEHICLE WHILE DRIVING

A Squeak noise is heard from front of vehicle while driving speed bumps or rough roads - noise is coming from the hood bump stop - noise is not coming from the fuel pump.

mine is doing the same thing. I jumped up and checked everything up top and found that it was the cargo box. I wiggled the release handle and the sound was the same.

Check that, hope full it's a simple (free) fix.

Check your AC condenser, it might be loose. I had a funky metallic/squeaky sound coming from the front of my X. Took it in to the dealer and they said the AC Condenser/Canister was loose. Haven't had a problem since.

sorry for bringing this one up. Anyways, does anyone have any idea about this one? This noise freaks me alot.
