Rotational sound
Ok. This one is a bit hard to describe. On return trips home from work, when turning right, only on to ramps, i notice a very slight woosh/woosh/woosh sound. Not metalic. Not loud. The sound is hitting off the on ramp barrier's. No difference when brakes are applied. Runs/drives like new. Am i hearing normal rotation of something? 37,000 miles. Stock.
Just to satisfie my doubt, drove in a circle in a parking lot....HEARD NOTHING. __________________

1. Sounds like the middle or front of the X. (Best i could tell.)
2. Not constant. 3. If i take the ramp at a slower speed, it will not do it. 4. You need the bouncing off of the barrier to hear it. Otherwise you hear nothing. It is not LOUD. 5. Not brake related. 6. Could this be the rotation of the driveshaft? Doubtfull? 7. Could be the disc brake shields slightly rubbing on the rotor(s)? |
