Blower Fan Switch
Hey,
Just recently my blower fan switch is only coming on intermittently. When i start the truck it does not work but maybe after 20 mins or so it works fine. Any idea what is going wrong the blower fan? Thank you, Landon |

What was the reason you replaced the switch? did you had the same problem before you replaced it?

I haven't replaced anything yet.... but just today the fan didn't come on right away but then struggle to make it up to full speed after 10 min of driving or so. I am wonder if my blower motor is on its way out? or just the blower motor fan speed switch?

How's your battery? Maybe take it to a Autozone or something and have them test it.
I don't know about an 05x but I've got a car, non-Nissan, which cuts power to accessories if battery voltage is low and slowly restores full power to accessories after batter voltage returns to normal (i.e. through driving as the battery is recharged). --John |

I replaced my blowermotor back in September. It can be the motor, the resistor, or the switch. With mine it was definitely the motor. It sounds like it is your motor too. It is pretty easy to replace. I don't know if my thread is still up on this site but if you can find it it will help you out. If not I can tell you what I did and why. Mine is an 05 and it had about 96k on it when replaced.
