Broken bolt on body mount insulator.
I break a bolt on my 2005 Xterra when trying to remove the stack of washers (they fall down because of corroded weld) that is use as a lifting point at the body mount insulator near the driver door (type B according to the file annexed).
Is someone have a clue to remove the broken bolt and nuts that still inside the body without removing the bolts from the other 9 body mount insulator to separate the body from the frame ? The problem is I don’t see the nut. I had in mind to lift the carpet from the driver side close to this assembly and cut a piece of sheet metal that cover the floor to reach this broken bolt and nuts…is someone has an easier way ? Thanks in advance for your help. |
