2000 xterra transmission problem
have just put on a new timing belt on 3.3 motor worked fine but after a few days it started the idle started to float up and down the code came up for the TPS and the knock sensor, adjusted the TPS and it seemed fine went for a ride and after about 20 miles the transmission lost third gear, there was no slipping, no grinding just gone, replaced the TPS cleared the codes and still no third gear first, second, and overdrive work work fine anybody else ever have this problem, would like to figure it out

transmission
I have had the transmission checked out and found out that the the third and now fourth gear clutchs are gone. I have to replace the transmission, I have priced new and rebuilt transmissions and there is little change in the cost, And i would buy a new one, but have found a used one with a 90 day guaranty, so i am going to go that route.
