Yes, the sensor is under the center console. See attached diagram.

Not all the Xterra have YAW sensor. Does your Xterra have VDC? The SE didn't came with an standard Power Package which was the one that included the VDC system.

Well this is a very strange one. My Xterra is an SE and so does not have VDC. The scanner is saying the fault is with the YAW sensor which it does not have??

I am lost?

Hi

I just checked the paper work from Auto shop and they did not give me the code, they just said problem with YAW sensor. I will have to call them about it on Monday.

The problem with the Xterra is the ABS and SLIP lights are on.

The scanner at the shop was SNAP ON

Thanks

Sounds more like a wheel speed sensor.

Well, my X does not have VDC! thats why I could not find the YAW sensor.....went back to the auto shop and explained, they scanned again and it now came up with the correct error codes:

1109 - Low Voltage

1103 - Front right wheel sensor!

Thanks for all your help!

For the 1109 could be just a low battery voltage. Check that first.

For the 1103, as tech22 mention is probably a bad, disconnected or damage sensor. The 1103 is for the Right Front sensor.

Thanks,

I looked at the sensor and found the wire to be broken just as it goes into the connector on the Wiring loom side. Im not sure if a replacement connector is available, i will look into this further!
