Default 2003 Xterra codes PO303 and PO328

Recently my check engine light came on and had it read at AZone and the following codes apeared: PO303 and PO328 -- any suggestions on what it could be and how expensive it will be?

p0303 is a cylinder misfire in cylinder 3 which may mean it could either be the spark plug, coil or the injector.

p0328 is your knock sensor Nissan OBD-II Trouble Code P0328

i would worry about your misfire more than the knock sensor. you would have to strt inspecting the wires from the coil on the #3 cylinder and look for exposed wires or anything that doesnt lok right, it may need to be replaced. plugs are cheaper and i believe u would need ngk platnium. those are the two to test 1st then if anything it may be that the injector is clogged or not working properly. head to the service manual and download the Engine Control Section Knowledgebase - 2003 Xterra - Nissanhelp.com look up your code and it should give u directions for troubleshooting
