Back Brakes -02 Xterra - ??
Just wondering if anyone has had their X in for back brake replacment yet - cost info is what I am looking for??
(trying to set back some cash for vacation - but, start a "save the X fund" as well....) |

u can svae alot by doing it yourself if handy. u got drums or are they rotors? if rotors it should be esier that drums. u would just need some tools, air tools if u can and u can rent the caliper compress tool at autozone for free(returnable deposit) did mine and never done them before with a lil help and it was pretty easy, except for the part where i had to use some elbow grease.

LOL>..well I know an A-10, T-38 and an F-16 pretty well...but not my X. Aircraft mechanic's are not always the best auto mechanic's.....
I have the tech data....doesn't look "too bad".....I think I'll try it. |

oh nice, aircraft mechanic sounds pretty cool. yeah it should be pretty much two caliper bolt and then the two bracket bolt, is my guess if its disc.
