Default lug nuts instead of hubcaps

My hub caps came off can i put the shiney lug nuts on instead of hubcaps and what kind i went to the auto store they informed me that some do not fit corrrectly

huh, u want to put shiny lug nuts because your hub cap came off? go to autozone they should have some for you, they should have lugs that fit.. if u want new hub just take one measure it against your car then if its the right size get it.

Please be careful with lug nuts... Even though the threads may match the pitch of the seating surface must match the rims in which they are installed on or you may loose the intire wheel as you go down the road!
