Nissan ATF Fiuids Decoded?
Hi,
I tend to change the readily available fluids regularly in the expectation this procedure extends component life. Although a change out is quite a way down the road for my Versa, two proprietary ATF fluida are recommended in the service manual: Nissan matic D for 2007 and 2008 model years Nissan matic S for 2010 and 2011 model years It is tempting to spaeculate the D stands for Dexron and the S stands for synthetic. Does anyone know the identity of commonly available equivalents. |

Matic D is dexron.
As far as I know that is the only Nissan transmission fluid that has an aftermarket equivalent. There are some universal fluids available but I wouldn't use them.

Max-Life is a universal fluid. I wouldn't put it in my car.

Matik K fluid
Any idea which Nissan Matik K specification that the Valvoline ATF fails to meet?
