Default Security indicator light Nissan Versa

I have a new 2008 Versa, since last day the Security indicator light is blinking and doesn't go off, I don't have an intelligent key, so I checked the manuas and it said that it goes on when the ignition swithc is in the LOCK, OFF or ACC positions. Well the key is not even in, and it still blinks. What should I do?

It took a while to find it, but I'm glad to know the answer is "It's supposed to blink".

And it won't drain your battery - it's a small LED.
